          Why would he retire to avoid Eubank? They aren't even in the same weight class. FFS if he didn't want to fight Eubank he wouldn't need to retire. Just don't fight him, simple as that.You don't have to retire just to avoid one boxer. Ward gave his reason for retiring. Ward never lost a fight while Eubank lost to mediocre Saunders. Eubank is looking impressive since moving to 168 so be happy for him but don't go crazy. Ward didn't retire in mortal terror of Eubank.
