Thats just bcz the sport has not developed good in Turkey, here we have to rely on ppl coming from Caucasians, we lack equipment, gyms and even sparring partners. Here are really too few real boxing coaches, maybe 30. There are small communities of boxers in big cities but it's too hard to develop yourself just like that.
And there is no such thing race releated. Kazakhs (theyr Turks) have tons of quality boxers, Azerbaijan also produce monster boxers. Thats bcz they developed the sport and produced athletes during the Soviets era.
Ans it's a shame how ppl like you with access to almost everything talking that low about ppl who love this sport. Here we find a trainer and treat it like a treasure.

I grew up in a place that had a pretty big Turkish community. Pretty much all of them could talk a good game but couldn't fight. Very few of them will fight 1 on 1 either.

To be fair I dont think Yildrim is trash, his style was just all wrong for Eubank and that uppercut of his.

This. I had Avni hyped as a spoiler in the WBSS...til he got matched up with Eubank Jr. We haven't seen the last of Avni in big fights. And I think he'd have given Callum and George much tougher competitive fights than he was able to do vs Eubank Jr.

Isn't the rumor that Avni f#cked up DeGale's teeth lol. Idk if I buy that, but based on the problems DeGale had with Porky suggests to me Avni would give him some tough sparring too. That said sparring is sparring and too many take sparring "W's" too serious.
