Tarver uses entirely too much energy trying to knock hopkins out for the first 6 rounds (if it wont happen in the first 6 , it wont happen ,and it wont) then hopkins starts to throw the right hand more and lands flush , 11 and 12 round , Tarver will be damn near dead on his feet , not because of the ass whoopin hes taking but because of all the activity ... tarver gets knocked out in the 11 or 12th round ...

Tarver was puched out enough in the 3rd Roy fight to have been TKOd by a younger version of Roy.

He ain't any younger since then.

Still, Hopkins doesn't have the power to make it happen.

Tarver has run out of gas in past fights, most recently against GJ. Tarver is a counter puncher and has never been a high volume puncher type guy and doesn't punch himself out. It is more from constant pressure that he sometimes fades in the late middle rounds. I also dont see Bernard pressing the fight enough to exploit Tarvers stamina in the later rounds. Tarver is also the naturally bigger man and in clenches he might tire out Bernard.
