poor poor deontay.... no half decent opponent in almost 40 fights but its not his fault, he just unlucky doe. Strange how joshuas not had such problems getting better fighters in half the fights. Stiverne is a MANDATORY fight, Wilder didn't want to fight with him again.

He will lose his belt of je doesnt fight him.

No one said the WBC wasn't also at fault. But I can blame Wilder for having 5 voluntary defenses and all of them against the fat local homeless. Bum Fights Champion does not carry any weight in professional boxing, regardless of what Wilder has told you. Surely at least one of those voluntaries will be not described by the local clinic as "Stiff. Rigor Mortis has long since set in." Maybe some day.

I do think he went too long fighting bums before he got his shot at the title, but he seems willing to fight genuine fighters now and it's not his fault that his would-be opponents drug habits keep sinking the fights.

My hope is that if Wilder blows away Stiverne (which he should do easily) and if Joshua beats Pulev (which he should) then the next thing in line is Wilder v Joshua. That's the fight at HW right now.
