Stiverne tested positive for PEDs a year ago when he was supposed to fight Povetkin. Then he missed a VADA drug test earlier this year. The WBC excused both indiscretions. Along with the fact that he's been inactive for 2 years. This is the most corrupt mandatory order in a long time.

      Calm down folks!!

Heck it could have been worse.

I have no problem with Wilder v Stiverne 2 given the issue with Ortiz.

Showtime set up May-McGregor so they are the best hope to set up Wilder v. Joshua in the UK? They both have fights coming up, but then that should be next.

So clueless. He's a PED-user. All these North American/Canadian fighters who never leave the country cheat.

If you've never fought outsides your country, then you're suspect period. Pacquiao was heavily accused and he fights all over the world, but guys who won't leave their home state/country are never suspected - like we don't know lol...

Joshua heading to HBO soon... Wilder / Joshua not gonna get made until Wilder can sell some US PPVs.

People want to criticize other promoters especially Arum but no one has the stable Haymon has so there is no excuse not to have more big fights per year! Porter and Spence seem to be two of very few of Haymon fighter who are really genuine about fighting other top guys under the same banner!
Espinoza/Haymon/Schaefer actually succeeded in amassing tens and tens of fighters. They now probably wish HBO is still active to ease the burden of providing more fights as expected of them.

Weak card. Only reason why it was a bit interesting was cause Ortiz was fighting Wilder. Porter vs Granados is gonna be fugly and lippinets vs who, for a vacant belt? Gtfoh

Next weekends card sh.its ALL over this scab of a card

No excuse for that fight not to happen next assuming Wilder and Joshua win their upcoming fights.

This is also true unfortunately. Porter/Granados is a mostly meaningless stay busy fight for Porter. At least it should be fun. I don't know enough about the opening fight fighters to care. Wilder/Stiverne is a big let down compared to the original fight.
