No he wasn't. This was a close fight. Sexton did a chicken dance when Cornish landed in the 5th I think. Could have gone either way. Dubois, Gorman and Joyce are way above these guys.

That was a good fight? Are you kidding mate? That was a piece of trash fight if I ever saw one. Creamed Cornish is a poor man's Price and that's saying something. He's a 6' 7" totem pole. The guy is slow, flat footed, has a crap jab, and gasses quick. Half way into the fight he was laying on Sexton's shoulder like he wanted a slow dance. He is totally useless and should go back to being security at the mall or whatever he did before he started boxing pro. The Highlander should have low expectations because he's going nowhere fast in the pro boxing game.

Depends what you look for, mate.

Even two Donkeys can make a derby.

I watched this fight, Sexton actually did pretty well and deserved the win.

Gary Cornish is terrible though, he seems like a nice guy but horrible to watch.

The Dubois kid would likely put Serxon away within a couple of rounds, but fair play to Sexton - he is the British HW champ and should be very proud of himself.

The two lads fighting for the English title are probably better than these two. I agree with you I thought Sexton's jab in isolation and when he doubles it up is a nice punch.

Agree, This is a good as it will ever get for guys like Sexton.

He has ability and heart, but was never going to go beyond domestic level. He can still get some decent fights / paydays against the likes of Dubois or even Dave Allen (lol) and as long as he stays healthy can be proud of what he has acheived.
