  • Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr: I'd Consider Switch To MMA - If Money is Right

Chris Eubank Jr would consider a switch from boxing to MMA, but only if the money was right. The 28-year-old has a 25-1 record since debuting in 2012, with a fight against Avni Yildirim up next on Saturday. However, if a significant offer came his way, IBO super middleweight champion Eubank would be open to the idea of ending his boxing career to take up UFC.

Yes please switch, in boxing you haven't fought one solid opponent yet...leave the sport so we don't have to see or hear about you anymore.

He’s a late bloomer and wasn’t managed right. He’d have more hype if he signed to TMT. Take Badou Jack for example... Eubank Jr. would also be more deep in Mayweather Sr.’s training.

Eubank Jr. has a lot of confidence in the ring... he’s only 28. Once he gets a strap the significant defenses will come. If he has a 168 strap best believe Loeffler and Abel would jump on it.

In case he hasn't noticed the trend is currently going the other way.

UFC fighters are trying to get boxing fights because there is more money available and they get to keep more of it.

Actually I think MMA would be a good move for the Eubanks duo. It's a perfect stage for them. Sr. could prance around in the Octagon prior to Jr. flying in with his cape. Perfect venue for the circus. 😊

"we don't usually do this, but we'll start you off with 5k/5k. That's an offer you can't refuse."

Saudners is the better of the two by far.

Abraham is really and over-stuffed Middleweight. Best win was a shot Taylor and never really beaten or fought anybody of note since. He's more of a gatekeeper type. I wouldn't consider Abraham a solid opponent.

With all that said, I've never even see Eubank Jr. fight. No thoughts on how good he is.
