You don't score points by making someone miss unless you counter... you only prevent the other person from scoring points...

This is the fatal mistake that people who don't know anything about the history of boxing make... they score for the fight for the "slick" fighter just on defense... defense doesn't score points in boxing...

Hence, why Lara didn't beat Canelo... why Canelo didn't beat GGG... why Ward didn't beat Kova in the first fight... why Floyd lost to Castillo in the first fight.. the list goes on and on...

Here is Vegas judging at its finest. Floyd threw like 6 punches in a couple of those rounds and the judges gave him the rounds. Mcgregor clearly won 2-3 rounds early on because Floyd let him or whatever and still he couldn't get them scored for him.

Can someone let McGregor know that Floyd Mayweather turned 40 in February! He's acting as if he accomplished something! He got walked down by a 40-yr. old man, who he outweighed by at least 20 lbs., and got stopped! I know he made a nice payday, but it's NOT A GOOD LOOK!

He did accomplish something. He conned all he's gullible fans out if their money, and he's looking to do it again. It's clever how he reframes he's defeats to continue the public persona of total confidence, for instance Nate Diaz is now about 50lb heavier than him according to he's revised history and he's better than every fighter Floyd ever fought now, despite it being an old shot Floyd. Conor fans aren't ordinary fans. They will buy PPV just to hear this guy answering some questions.Conor vs anyone is ok with them.

McGregor won rounds 1 and 3, but clearly lost round 2 and 4....and 5, and 6, and 7, and 9, and was losing 10 before he got stopped.

He won round 8 doe. So that's like 3 rounds at least. I'd be damn proud too if I took 3 rounds from the Great Floyd Mayweather, no matter the height, reach, age, and weight advantage I had.
