Stiverne should have been banned too, boxing is a joke right now. I'd like to see the guys caught doping facing each other, eliminated from being able to compete with guys like Wilder, Golovkin, Crawford etc all the clean athletes facing each other.

This Clean Boxing program has little teeth beyond the WBC & based on this news the state or country the fight was being held in I'd assume. But moving forward I won't be surprised if we see Ortiz fight this year still.
I don't care for doping cheats, I can't see how he can retain his rankings with the WBC and WBA upon testing dirty, it's like asking for guys like Wilder and AJ to ditch their belts if ordered to face him. I figured he was dangerous and against AJ he'd give him problems, Wilder we know would have fought him like he fought Stiverne, Ortiz would have had to chase Wilder like he chased Scott, the fight would have been uglier than Parker vs Acne Fury.

Whyte was banned for two years, Thompson was unable to fight for a period in the U.K. I believe, I don't understand how it works, it's an absolute mystery to me how a popped doper is able to continue his career. Boxing sucks ass, I'm tired of watching guys who don't care about legacy pad their bank accounts avoiding the fights that matter, I've fallen back in love with football and motor racing lately but this year we've had some big fights.

Yet another convenient roadblock for Wilder to duck a legit threat. Tell him to retire, we're tired of the games.

They know going into the fight that Ortiz failed a drug test they're accepting liability if something were to happen to Wilder.
Don't be so naive. Wilder is calling all the shots. He's a super genius master mind out to destroy heavy weight boxing

You & everyone else. There seems to be nothing streamlined across abc groups + commissions with these guys who pop dirty. Povetkin fought as planned in Russia on the date he was going to fight Wilder thats how no f#cks given they were there about that one. Thats maybe something these pro-OST guys need to try to line up better in boxing.

Seems like MMA has things lined up nicely with this stuff although when a guy is popped by the USADA in the UFC the UFC is able to hem him up even if the fight is scheduled in a bs commissioned state/country cuz they have him under contract.

In boxing cuz everyone is some level of free agent typically & a promoter in boxing isn't looking to hem up his own guy usually + abc groups have no ability to stop a guy from fighting + the commissions don't seem fully on board or even aware of or agree with the WBC or any other abc groups OST program or about the calls they make its all one big clusterf#ck, as usual, it seems.

C+ troll post. Wilder as some sneaky PED doping his opponents guy angle needs to be explored better & have a more entertaining narrative, but I like where you are going with your trolling. Has potential.

Dude you sound ******ed talking like that. I don't rate in the least, he's another over hyped one dimensional heavy hitter, minimal skill but I call it how I see it. How is Wilder possibly to blame for a guy attempting to cheat to gain an edge.

It's gonna take one of these drug cheats permanently damaging someone before anyone does anything.

Povetkin tested positive for PEDs for the 2nd time in 7 months last December and he was allowed to knock out Johann Duhaupas less than 24 hours later. Think about that. A guy gets popped 2 times in 7 months, they fly in a replacement on 24 hours notice and feed it to that roid factory.
