I never paid a dollar to train at any gym. Get into a Boys Club or maybe hit City Hall and ask for funded youth boxing programs.

I would pay to go to Kronk or something, but regular gyms...nah.

I hang out in gyms run by the sports ministry and funded by them. They are by far the best ive been, much better equipments, hygiene, better coaches and free. Bcz they are funded and supported by a damn huge rich ministry.
Idk if you guys have such places in your country. I call it the gyms of socialism just like the soviets used to establish such places to develop a strong nation.

It's still like that. The problem is if you can fight you probably can't afford it. If you can't fight you probably can afford it. So the ones who can afford it end up paying for the ones who can't. He walked in that gym looking like he could afford to pay so they charged him full price.

The trend with boxing gyms today is to make you pay for classes or lessons as part of your membership. It is getting very difficult to find a real boxing gym that you pay a below $40 per month fee just to use the gym and workout. Today there are too many Title Boxing gym style franchises and health clubs who want to scalp you for hourly lessons and won't allow you to just workout. Even the ones that do often wont let you workout during their peak afternoon, early evening hours while classes are in session.
