I wonder if Wilder will go forward and fight Steverne..does Steverne get to keeo the step-aside fee, PLUS the purse if he's fighting Wilder?

Better yet, If Wilder finds another opponent, Let's say Whyte, and decides to pay Sterverne a Step-aside fee, Does Sterverne get the fee from both the Ortiz fight and Whyte? If so, he's clearly the winner in all of this.

Pretty sure he doesn't get the step aside money now. And it wouldn't make any sense to pay extra money to Stiverne for a Whyte fight that wouldn't make any money stateside.

It's smart to just get the mandatory out the way (at a lower cost), then see what's out there. Puts less pressure on the card to make money now. With Ortiz the gate would've probably been a minimum of 700k. Now? I'm guessing 300k if they're lucky.

This statement is ridiculous, And I'm from the UK an no fan of wilders, with that said it's been Joshuas team/Camp making excuses about mandos been in the way. Wilder has been screaming for that fight for ages he did the same with fury.. lastly wilder hasn't once rejected a fight with Anthony.
