They are both top 5 P4P on most people's lists so if you beat another elite fighter then that is what projects you up the list - that is what got Crawford there even though I didn't see he clearly got by Kovalev he still found a way.

I think Crawford just lacks one elite opponent or a couple of decent opponents to really cement his place. If he beats say Spence(elite) or Garcia and Porter that would really seal hi in at no.1 for me
    Good post!

Also I don't understand how people can say their skills are equal. Rigo has like 50% of Loma's offensive arsenal, maybe less. His right hand is so pathetic, probably 10% of Loma's. The guy doesn't know how to throw combinations. He usually kind of panicking and shooting hard left like crazy.
I would say their defense is not too far apart.
I think Loma's defense is slightly more impressive because he does more in fights. He doesn't just focus on defense and still finds a way to keep opponents low on connecting.
Rigo focuses way more on defense and yet they both are very similar in how much the opponents land on them.
Even against Salido people say Loma got beat up but Salido landed less on Loma than other fighters do against great defensive fighters.
      Go figure, right?

Other fighters that are called great defensively, which they are don't get me wrong, often times their opponents will land more than 150 punches during the fight. Salido landed less than 150 on Loma. So if Loma got "beat up" against Salido what does that say about the other fighters?

very even fight. Only the weight and age seems the advantage...

In support of my claim of Rigo's absence of offensive skills - look at +/- ranking. Rigo is nowhere to be seen, the guy has +6.7, less than Broner. How people can equate Loma and Rigo skills is beyond me.

                What is this?
These numbers look like they're from 2013, the year Loma made his debut, so obviously not enough information on Loma yet at the time.

How many people have done that, and did so in dominating fashion? I don't care where you have Loma on a P4P list, but you have to be biased or ******ed to try to keep him off. I can't believe people like you actually use that "only ten fights" bullcrap, as if inflating your resume with 15 bums makes you P4P after you get one good win.

And for the record, a lot of boxers and coaches have stated Lomachenko is a top p4p fighter.

But let me guess, some fat American on some message board with an agenda knows more than the professionals
2 top guys, 1 two divisions lower than him & 1 LOSS. That is NOT a #1 P4P resume.

Good thing I'm not a "fat American."

And name these "a lot of boxers and coaches" that have him at #1.
