Definitely sketchy how Conor keeps calling out Paulie into the octagon, especially with the few clips his team leaked making it seem like Conor was owning Paulie in the ring.

Well... theres not money fighting Paulie... Why would he fight a retired boxing analyst? U think he would make money? Unless its a big name why would he fight a boxer? Hes a MMA fighter... it was a cash grab, remember?

As soon as he gets back to MMA he will bank another nice payday. Nobody is going to Paulie to get a payday.

If this guy fighting for his divisions interim title looks too good, GSP loses next month & Diaz is as difficult to make a deal with Conor's move is FOR SURE coming back to the boxing ring to fight Paulie (cuz who else is viable at this point?).

Conor's moves are:

The Tony Ferguson vs Kevin Lee winner this weekend: both are beasts on the ground & can strike well enough to give Conor some challenge or get him some rounds where Conor will likely be more tired & more likely to be taken down. And this doesn't pay THAT well cuz neither guy is super known so the juice isn't worth the squeeze here, but no "super fight" being available & this will be the fight the UFC makes without question.

GSP: If GSP beats the 185lb champ next month I wouldn't at all be shocked if Conor tries to fight him as many consider GSP the best MMA fighter of all time & this would be a third divisional belt for Conor. If GSP loses I suppose its even viable for a non-title superfight at 170 where Conor fought Diaz twice already & where GSP was the champion before retiring 4(?) years ago.

Diaz: If they can hand Diaz enough money this seems like the most likely fight to make, but Diaz hangs with Ward so he can be a bit of a diva himself with the amount of money he's requesting. I believe verbally (who knows what he wants behind the scenes more reasonable) he was asking for $20M lol. And him & his brother seem to give no f#cks about fighting anyone anywhere or not fighting nobody anywhere depending on how they happen to wake up that morning. They can be all over the place with wants & needs.

Paulie: This is rather oddly the 2nd biggest rivalry Conor has had & its all based off a top secret sparring sessions that happening twice for a total of 20 rounds apparently. How viable Conor's boxing career is is a legit question after his hammerfisting, lightly, debut, but I believe it'll be an easy sell for a second more reasonable fight with another retired guy like Paulie that both guys make some nice money & its kinda like the Conor vs Floyd fight in its a crazy reward for both guys considering their personal trajectories at this point in time.

That tells me this is a race between Diaz & Paulie next & Diaz runs hot & cold with accepting fights & hasn't fought since the last Conor fight over a year ago & 4 fights in the last 4 years after being among the most notable 3 fight a year UFC guys previously.

Paulie Mags is a light tapping fringe boxer who didn't really ever do anything in boxing worth remembering. Conor made more in the UFC last year before Floyd than weak Paula made in her whole soft career. Paula is more a Bruce Jenner ready to make the switch.
