I agree to some extent. I think most people recognize Loma as a considerable favorite against the smaller, older Rigo. The betting odds reflect this.

That being said it seems like a lot of Rigo's biggest fans on this site have been calling for and are excited about this fight. So at least from those individuals, I'd expect loma to get full credit for the win.

Ironic coming from a Kovalev fan. Have you guys no shame?

Loma has a bit too many advantages for him not to have detractors in case of victory. Who gives a ****, these are two supremely gifted fighters getting it on. I'm all for it.

No, he will get credit. See, the difference is Rigo won his last fight. Loma doesn't get credit for ko'ing some pizza delivery boy. If he beats Rigo, he will get credit for beating a technically superb fighter who is much smaller.

Obviously Mikey Garcia is a much more dangerous opponent, and that is why we will never see Loma fight him. Still, if he can beat Rigo, than Loma really is the real deal. On the other hand, Rigo is also old and has to have a lot of ring rust.

And Loma and everyone else knows he will get more credit for beating Rigo than anyone at 130. If Loma was about legacy and getting credit, he would be facing Garcia. He is not, he is about money, and it seems smartest to fight an elite opponent much smaller instead of an elite opponent who is bigger than Loma, like Garcia. Nothing wrong with that, just saying there are a lot of bums he can face and then their is Rigo at 2 and Garcia has the toughest possible foe. He is fighting probably the second toughest fight he could though, so he will get credit for that.

He loses credit for fighting a bum who lost his previous fight and then crying that he doesn't get credit. You do not get credit for beating some cashier from 7/11. Fighting such a bum is disgraceful enough, but then to cry about everyone taking note that his opponent came in third in a small-town Toughman contest is amazing.

That is an awesome ass in your avatar.

Stop with the Kovalev bs. Ward is dirty af and won on a huge controversy. And if it’s too hard for Rigo then why the hell did he keep on calling Loma out?

Terrence Crawford's best or 2nd best win is probably Gamboa, who was moving up 2 weight classes and way under-sized at 135. I rate Rigo as better than Gamboa, and Loma around Crawford's level, so everyone should give Loma his due, no matter how he wins. I definitely will.

Look at this lying little shlt. Dude claimed rigo wanted no parts and still isn't giving rigo any props for moving up 2 weight classes lol. This is the kind of people we're dealing with here

He had better win. If he loses it will certainly be a no win situation. I have been reading posts on here for at least a year that he is afraid of Rigo and that Rigo would school him.If he beats Rigo it will shut them up. It's a good win for him if he beats Rigo.

Yea well, he brought it himself. He should have offered to meet Rigondeaux half-way instead of making him jump two classes to get the fight.

I really detest Lomachenko. The guy is mentally ******ed. I like how the rest of the world calls us ****** Americans, there Euro's man I'll tell ya.

I don't think Loma is from Europe.

Well he should've fought him at a lower weight then. It's not like he can't make it.
