You could "Argue", again, key word "ARGUE", and it'll be a legit argument too, that Canelo won the first 2 rounds and the last 2 rounds. I understand GGG dominated the middle rounds, but some of them were vey close, including the 9th when Canelo landed that big right hand which was the best punch landed of the fight by either fighter. Those are 5 rounds that you could argue canelo won. Depending on how you saw the fight and what you prefer (aggression, even though mostly ineffective, or the sharp and harder counter punches landed by canelo, though they were few in between) you could argue some of those middle rounds as a toss up as well.
I've spoken to many people who thought GGG won, and that's cool if you like the more aggressor fighter, but I personally prefer the cleaner, sharper, harder punches Canelo was landing. Not saying Canelo won, Just saying GGG didn't win "Clearly". It was a close fight.
Canelo deft Whoops him in the rematch in May.Last edited by chepboxingking; 10-03-2017, 09:59 AM.Comment

One clean shot vs 5 clean shots and 15 jabs.. What does Charlo and Derevyanchenko do until the Canelo vs. GGG rematch takes place? They probably wouldn't be looking at fighting the winner until next September, and only one of them (probably Charlo if GGG wins) will get the winner? I have an idea...Charlo vs. Derevyanchenko! Both guys signed with Haymon! Let's go!Comment
