I've sparred with enough mma fighters to know that they can't take as good of a shot. Especially guys from a grappling background.

Floyd is a 40 year old small man who was retired. That uppercut that Conor landed would've dropped everyone else that Conor has fought.

Probably because they have to look out for kicks and takedowns in their professional life not just punches. Conor's chin was good enough against Mayweather...

As for that uppercut, Conor was wearing big padded gloves. I doubt he would have dropped anyone in MMA with that punch. He normally has to hit them numerous times to stop them as it is.

Paulie is not known by ANYONE anymore who’s not a boxing fan (and there aren’t many of us). And the only reason they knew about him at all was bc of the maygregor fight. He is the most forgettable “celebrity” you could create.
This fight wouldn’t sell for **** to casuals.
I doubt even most boxing fans would pay $25 for it.
Would be a ****** move here.
They could do a St Patty’s Day fight in Dublin, and sell that **** out. Show it for free here. Give it a good promo, and you might get some good cash on an otherwise nonsense sparring match between a UFC fighter and a washed up never-was.
