Sure, Golovkin needs to do what he's gotta do, but how can he put on anymore pressure than he already did. He was on his @ss all night.
If anything, from a professionalism/realness and fan perspective, Canelo needs to come to fight next go round. The only problem is, is Canelo's "style" is fighting in a fleeting manner. Whether it's a 20+ lb advantage over a then mediocre blown up welterweight in Cotto or full sized middleweights like Golovkin, he fights the same way everytime.
Basically, Canelo has huge endurance problems. Not saying Golovkin has a bigger or that much bigger endurance (h*ll for all I know he could have much less endurance given advanced age) tank but simply saying that Golovkin is a master boxer with an unparalleled finesse. Golovkin's mastery is heavily derived in taking ZERO liberties in the ring, always coming from a position of strength and having the calmness/experience to rest muscle groups unwittingly. The broad idea of his style is a less-is-more conservatism that cuts through the bull ****.
Canelo is a green horn with okay middleweight power, great chin, improving adroitness, very limited offensive ability, bad endurance, mediocre ring technical ability, good durability, great defense, a low bar for level of victory.
Golovkin is a veteran with a legendary amateur background, great middleweight power, great chin, masterful adroitness, varied offensive ability, consistently proficient endurance, great ring technical ability, great durability, good defense, a high bar for level of victory.
I want to see Canelo in the rematch
1. Hold his ground
2. Way way wayyyy less full body overly strenuous defensive maneuvers
3. Have an ambitious offensive strategy
4. Set up over-hand rights as main priority, with intention of follow up power combos when pertinent.
5. Shifting & forward momentum; would do wonders.
I want to see Golovkin in the rematch
1. Repeat 85% of his last performance
2. Trust instincts but land some big shots in 1 & 2, even if it means taking it easy for the next round or two. Important to take something out of Canelo early (Canelo will likely tire himself out with fight or flight anxious movements in rounds G takes off)
3. Go to the body like a son'a b*tch

that was a real dumb misinterpretation that was
if Gennady knew you existed he would fire you
I never misinterpreted anything you said. Its all been bull***** hatred of GGG. Just like when you countered my arguement that Mora was no better than Adama by saying that the big problem with GGG not fighting Mora is that normally guys on the way up beat former champions like Mora. Not that Mora was a threat. You added that later. You were made at the process. GGG ducked the process and still made it. You're pissed off. Get over it. Mora skipped the process as well. He needed a reality show to catapult him into a title shot. He jumped the line as well. Alls well that ends well. But you're still going to b!tch about it regardless.Last edited by yankees7448; 10-11-2017, 10:37 PM.

And since GGG came to the US he's beaten much better opposition than Mora. The only guy GGG fought that Mora was conclusively better than was Proska and Ishida. That's it.
Golovkin has FAILED on the PPV stage, no matter how you spin it..... his numbers are no better than Wards, who is NOT a fan favorite

the other day, when you were embarrassing yourself by making silly childish excuses to justify that bullshht.....
..... and you wrote that when Gennady said "anyone from 154-168"..... he meant at 160.....
did you realize how badly you made Golovkin look by insinuating that he was dragging up the little guys and draining the big guys?
you simply did not think about that before it blurted out of your dumb mouth, did ya? LOOOL
you shameless excuse-making MUPPET !!!
you were the first dumbass to coin that cringe-worthy excuse you homer, nobody will forgetLast edited by TonyGe; 10-11-2017, 08:15 PM.

Considering how long he was chasing the fight, you think he would've had a sense of urgency the first time.

he needed all the help he can get
the HALF-A-DOZEN silly excuses they gave to avoid that fight were ridiculous..... but refusing to negotiate on weight with the lil old faded 153lb SUPERSTAR Miguel Cotto, was beyond absurd..... and is totally inexplicable/unjustifiable
oh , here..... you obviously forgot to watch this video
smarten up kid..... you are making a fool of yourself by defending the guy who played you
