It's rather easy for K2 mgmt and publicists to follow suit with what Alvarez is doing, to stay consistent with the fan investment. All it says is Ggg will visit Mexico the second half of October with the WBC also making efforts...as if the WBC wouldn't. Theyre just consolidating publicity with the green strap holder.
The mere fact that the WBC tries hard to still want Nelo associated with thier custom made straps makes these articles easy to figure out.
Until we know how much Golovkin is donating, will we know his "Mexican Style."
It sure aint no 1million USD. Ggg wouldnt be dumb to do that when he could do it in his own country, and a man of his pride has common sense and Herman Bros. advisory won't let his image be exploited for a country not his own. This is why GGg will only donate a small portion. Whatever K2 and the WBC will contribute theyll probably just sum that with association to the WBC. Its easy when you hear reports saying "WBC Champion..."
I mean 25K from Lil'gs purse has the Kazakh cringing with the idea since he knows what exploitation is..
