Antonio Tarver respects De La Hoya and Mayweather Jr. as fighters, but questions the level of opposition they have faced, calling them B-Level.

Kevin Van Brimmer of the TCPalm quotes Tarver as saying: "Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya are great fighters, but I feel I'm the best fighter today. There's no fighter out there doing the things I'm doing, knocking out legends. These guys are going the distance with 'B' level fighters, fighting life and death with 'B' fighters. Tarver is such a asshead. He seems pretty nice in post fight interviews and stuff , always showing respect but I guess he likes talking behind peoples backs.
