    Trophy belt or not, it raises suspicion on the WBC for flexing their rules in order to accommodate Mayweather. Either they are dedicated to cleaning up the sport as they claim, or they are not. Mayweather appears to be the sole exception to this rule, no surprises there.

      This relationship conveniently coincides with Mayweather's "final fight" with Berto in September of that year. One in which Mayweather offered short notice to his opponent while staying with USADA testing.

      Fast forward to the May/Mac fight, sanctioned by the WBC for the "Money Belt", and the WBC did not insist on VADA testing. They instead, allowed Mayweather to use USADA. Yet, the GGG and Alvarez underwent VADA testing for the WBC for their fight.

      How does this happen? If the WBC felt that VADA was the superior testing platform back in Aug 2015, how does Floyd once again get an exception to the rule which allows him to use a suspect and inferior testing protocol for May/Berto and May/Mac? One that allowed him an exception three weeks after using an illegal IV for the Pac fight?

      There is no doubt Mayweather launched his clean boxing program back in 2009 with an ace up his sleeve and USADA in his back pocket. What better way to dupe the public into thinking he was the "clean" fighter then to have the deck stacked in your favor while both USADA and the WBC have your back?

      His comeback from retirement in 2009 coincides with this relationship, and all of his wins since the Marquez fight should be under suspicion.

      Can't wait to hear all of the excuses from the Floyd fans who would never allow something this obvious to slip by for any other fighter.

      You are one of the best posters here and you better believe that you are not going to find an unbiased Floyd fan on this site who Is going to openly admit to the fact that Floyd was most likely using along with Marquez and Pacquiao. They love to point the finger at Pacquiao without any positive test results, yet defend Floyd's suspicious activity.

          The rule only applies to ranked WBC fighters

          Each of the following shall be considered or become an Eligible Boxer subject to testing under
          the CBP:
          1. Any boxer who as of January 1 of each year is a WBC World Champion;
          2. Any boxer who as of January 1 of each year is ranked in the top 15 in the WBC
          World Ratings or who throughout the year becomes ranked in the top 15 in the
          WBC World Ratings;
          3. Any boxer who becomes eligible to challenge for a WBC World Championship
          bout through a WBC ruling; or
          4. Any boxer who does not fall within conditions 1-3 above but who voluntarily
          submits to become an Eligible Boxer under these protocols

            I am no fan of Floyd but what did the WBC have to do with the fight at all? they made up some bogus belt to be involved in the fight and that is about all.

            While I am skeptical about Floyd and his relationship with USADA, their granting of a TUE for the Manny fight and allegedly his failing of a few tests that were going to be evidence in the Pac trail before it was settled when they were going to try to legally have them uncovered.

            Floyd ran the Vegas commission and he probably had a stronghold over USADA as he was paying loads more money than they were getting for other fights and loads more than VADA charges for their testing. It is what it is, corruption is everywhere.

            and to the guys like Larryxxx who somehow think Floyd and Ward hurt anyones feelings by winning or beating white fighters, get a life dude. You live through a guy like Floyd who does not know you exist in this world. It's just a sport, when these guys leave, another batch come through just like any other sport. Stop acting like because you are the same color as these guys, you have some sort of connection with them. They wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire lol..

              He has been given several different completely reasonable scenarios as to why USADA was BETTER for the fight.

              Time to ask him for some proof of HIS position. That, or he should STFU.

                  Are you that slow? They only test for wbc ranked fighters. Floyd wasn’t ranked nor a champion. Actually Floyd did them a favor by letting them be involved. It only raises suspicion with you because you’re mentally challenged.
