I'm sure if push comes to shove Golovkin will fight Charlo if he has too, I just think people will be wondering who Charlo is and what he did to get in the ring with an elite fighter like Golovkin. Charlo has a bright future no doubt about it, but he barely got past Trout.

Usually when champs vacate and move up a weight class they are usually very highly ranked in the new weight class, which makes it easier to secure world title opportunities...I think GGG/Charlo and Canelo/Charlo are good fights tbf.

Agreed Charlo against either would be a great fight, I think it's logical that the Canelo vs GGG rematch happens first.

He was WBC champion at 154lbs, so I believe he got the immediate number one at 160. But IMO he is not worthy at this point of fighting for the title of true MW champion. I'm not crying if he doesn't get his shot yet. Now if he goes and beats Jacobs, who Sanchez says is the second best MW, then I'll be pushing for him to get the shot ASAP.

Regardless I said if he thinks he's getting Golovkin or Canelo any time soon I think he'll be in for a rude awakening. He needs to fight and not wait around.

Fair enough, yes I agree with what you said above, he was to beat someone like Jacobs then I would sit up and take note, as things stand currently he has done nothing at middleweight. Heiland is not a top fighter, even less so fighting on one leg.
