    Duran = overrated

    Now, this blasphemous animal-torturing sicko may have caught SRL at a bad night, but SRL avenged the fight twice, even making him rage quit during their second fight due to the extreme difference in skill level. Duran beat a lot of opponents, but not really special ones, and was really just another latino boxer getting exposed when he met a good black boxer... I really don't see why Duran is so popular. Imagine if Broner threw a cat into a wall or hit a horse.

            6 weight classes out of his start weight and 4 out of his natural weight and he still gave SRL his first loss --- legit. Duran had weight problems in the second fight with SRL no secret.

            Duran is not overrated. He was beating Hagler at 160 lol going into the 13th. Dude started at 120. That's like Mayweather fighting at Super Middleweight or Light Heavyweight and being competitive against the established best in that division minus alphabelt soup titles.

              Duran isn't overrated. He may have a few losses but that's probably doiwn to not taking his health serious or not training as serious as he could and having oiff nights as result taking his opponents lightly.
              But his peers rate him as well. That's usually a good indicatoir.

                  If Duran had retired after the first Leonard fight he would've been considered one of the top few fighters in history with a record of 71 and 1. He is still considered the greatest lightweight of all time you are comparing him to the welterweights Junior middleweights and middleweights he lost to which was when he was past his prime

                    You better brush up on your boxing history. Duran is rated consistantly as the best or close to the best lightweight the ever laced on gloves.
