Seriously, get over it man, Ali wasn't ******, but it was obvious that he cried racism when he was called up, even though I seriously doubt they would put him at the front lines of combat...all you're doing is trying to create reasons why it was ok for him to not go. He didn't want to do it out of fear, which would've been more understandable to say rather than "no Vietcong ever call me an N word"Comment

Politics and religion are based on personal opinion. Once you strongly try to imply it will always cause others to strongly react to it. Its that simpleComment

Floyd, Broner and guys like Stevenson would take the knee...
You know, the 'innocent' guys who were racially profiledComment

Key difference I see is that bench warmers in the NFL easily become millionaires. The overwhelming majority of professional boxers need another job to support themselves.Comment

Oh God. Is even BoxingScene hiring ****ing social justice warrior writers now? This is boxing, where people punch each other in the face. Can't we please just leave it be? Is there no reprieve anywhere anymore? Even boxing has to be domesticated and child-proofed and social justice children-proofed? What's next, an article about how the nature of boxing, a physical contest, promotes Patriarchy and Imperialism, a time where Might was Right and women were the property of men due to men's innate advantage in physical strength?
In other words, how can boxing, above all other sports, promote equality, when if it were to have contests within its rules between men and women, men would have an innate advantage, and equality would not be reflected in the net results of those boxing matches? And if, as is clear, the sport of boxing was designed to both advantage men within the sport, and reflect Patriarchal values, ideals, and definitions of self-worth from the culture outside the reflect, then should it not therefore be abolished, or at least changed into a non-contact sport, in order to promote equality #Hillary2020?
Seriously, is that what's next? Is that the plan, boxingscene? Maybe I will find another boxing news website.
You just mad they won't hire you....lol....& yeah you should find another site to spit bad boxing logic....you might want to stick to & stay at max boxing. Peace!Comment

I practically PUKED when those NFL players kneeled for the American Anthem and then STOOD PROUD while they sang God Save the Queen???
I turned the T.V. off and got up and went outside and worked on my cars.
If any American Boxer does this I will NEVER watch any of their fights and if they soo much are even on an undercard for a PPV fight I want to watch I won't! I will not put one cent in that fight promoters pocket.
Boxing is an INTERNATIONAL Game. If they want to make America look like a JOKE to foreigners then *** T|HEM!!!
I have to sting you! I have to give you the Sweet Science slap for this dumb ass post. So you have the nerve to say I'm about to quote you so there is know misunderstanding.
"Boxing is an INTERNATIONAL Game. If they want to make America look like a JOKE to foreigners then *** T|HEM!!!"
You sound super ******. So what do you feel about ALL those Americans who were rooting for Pacquiao to beat Mayweather an American fighter???????? Did they make America look like a joke to the people around the world who watched that fight? Can you answer the question and did you say anything about it?
Or how about the Americans who was rooting for Kovalev against Ward??? You frequent Boxingscene quite often so I'm sure you seen MANY Americans rooting for a foreigner over their own gold medalist. Does that not make America look like a joke?
Or HOW about all those people ESPN, and other large media sources who LOVE and jock lil g who ONCE again is not American but don't like Wilder. So you see how backwards you sound?Comment
