Nobody has been able to solve his style. 48 guys of all different styles, skill level, experience and various advantages in weight, power ect tried and failed.

Did any of the other guys who gave Canelo a hard fight, Trout, Lara or GGG, come anywhere close to the domination that Floyd did? That is what sets floyd apart.
A special fighter would have given Floyd a run for his money.

Carlos Baldomir gave Floyd a better fight

Canelito didn't go near Charlo or Andrade even when they had TITLES.

He shouldn't get a pass for fighting Mayweather...for a HUGE payday.

He's gonna' have to fight Charlo or Andrade one of these days....and when he does..it won't go well for him.

        Duran is mexican

Most mexican boxers use slips and parrys to counter and dont overly move away from their opponent.

some Black fighters (not all) excessively move
Around the ring in order to kill time , keep a large amount of distance from their opponent
Thus keeping both fighters punch count lower than usual.

          Mate.

There is a lot of Mexicans legends that were slicks or have very good defensive skills:

-Miguel Canto probably was the best defensive fighter of Mexico. He is HOF.

          -Miguel Roman.

          -Maromero Paez.

          -Gallo Estrada.

          -Alfonso Zamora.

          -Vicente Saldivar was a master.

-Ruben Olivares (he was old and out of his prime, was boxing the sh.it out of Alexis Arguello).

          -Jose Luis Ramirez.

-Marco Antonio Barrera (performance vs Hamed).

          -Titere Vazquez.

          -Mago Gonzalez.

Actually we have Rey Vargas, Jessie Magdaleno.

Berchelt schooled Miura so bad fightin in The large distance.

Ca$hnelo ain't even the best active Mexican fighter, that's Juan Francisco Estrada.

I think Ca$hnelo clowned Borat though. If Ca$hnelo knocks out Borat in the rematch then I can see him creeping up the list of All-Time Great Mexicans.

              As of now I got:

              1. Marquez
              2. Chavez
              3. Sanchez
              4. Lopez
              5. Morales
              6. Arizmendi
              7. Barrera
              8. Olivares
              9. Zarate
              10. Mares

An Estrada win over Rungvisai gets him to #8 for me. Wins over Inoue and Yafai will get Estrada in the Top 5 argument.

A Borat knockout gets Ca$hnelo into the Top 8, maybe Top 7 but that's it. Gotta put more work in after that. The Middleweight division sucks though so it might be tough for Ca$hnelo to get into the Top 5.

If Mares beats Santa Cruz in a rematch he moves up to Top 8. If he adds a Frampton, Russell Jr. or Selby he's in the discussion for Top 6 or 7.

Yeah but Alvarez exceeds Chavez Jr. as the 2nd Middleweight Champion in history. Zbik for Chavez Jr. (Who was draining from 168..) vs Nelo fighting THe MAN at 160. There has never been a Mexican in Black-Nelo’s shoes.. Ramirez is first 168 Mexican Champ.

THis is why I’m saying Nelo vs Ramirez is a super fight...it’ll take time for people to catch on that PPV importance

Yeah, after Ca$hnelo sends Borat back to Afghanistan he should move up to 168 just for one fight to do the Ramirez PPV. It'd probably sell good and I think Ca$hnelo would beat the s**t out of Ramirez.

Berchelt can use different styles, he was slick vs Miura but that's not his principal style.

                      Yeah.

Macias was slick, he has very good amateur career.

People is fu.cking ignorant thinking that Mexican style is fight like Margarito or Giovani Segura.

Canelo has a lot of skills and great bending and head movement.

He did a beauty fight vs Golovkin and people still hating him
