On second thoughts, Miller is on record as saying he wouldn't take a fight on short notice. As much as Whyte talks, I suspect he'd have a reason not to get in the ring too.

He is not gonna fight Stiverne. Wilder will fight some tomato can and use the excuse that he could not find anyone due to the short time span of finding a legit contender. WBC sure does bend over backwards for Wilder. He has not fought a top 10 contender in yrs, let alone the 1 ranked WBC fighter. If the #1 ranked guy was unable to fight for whatever reason he could of easily just fought the #2 guy or #3, but instead he fights guys who are not even ranked in the top 20. Ortiz's team said that the WBC jumped the gun without checking that the medicine was cleared. That suggests he let VADA know what he had been taking.
Too many meds are on the banned list. I would like to know the process in choosing what goes on the list and what does not. And the drugs that are put on the list what kind of medical evidence is presented that gets them listed as performance enhancing drugs, masking agents, etc. A fighter should not be made to discontinue use of a necessary medication at the risk of serious health effects or even death just because it may hypothetically be used for something else. If Ortiz has a valid medical reason for using it the fight should go on. If he failed to disclose it (it seems that Ortiz's team is saying it was approved) but he presents evidence he still had a valid medical reason to use it the fight should go on. Instead, a fine should be issued for failure to disclose.
I get the feeling the WBC didnt check anything from the start and waited to throw that red flag ,maybe knowing blood pressure meds were going to come up . A perfect reason to run from this fight .

I didn't even bother to read the rest of your post. By these sentences I can tell you're a biased troll. He is not gonna fight Stiverne. How is this Wilder's fault? He clearly went out of his way to make this fight happened. Not his fault Ortiz didn't notify the WBC he was on meds.Comment

Reading more than 140 characters is probably too much for you so of course you ask questions that were answered by my post. It is true Wilder has not face anyone of note since he won the WBC belt. He has not faced 1 top 10 fighter. If you want to blame other fighters for Wilder not fighting legit contenders there is some truth to that, but like I posted if the #1 guy was not available then fight the #2 fighter, if he is not available fight the #3 fighter. Don't pick some washed up fighter like Arreola or some other nobody who is not even ranked.
Again if u would of been able to break away from your ADD or your favoritism then your questions would of been answered. I am no troll I am a fan of boxing. I am not a fan of 1 or 2 particular boxers and have hate everyone else. I cannot stand posters who do not give a damn about the sport and only care about their favorite fighter. The fighters who should get criticized are fighters who refuse to fight the best available opponents and Wilder is certainly one of those fighters.Comment

So were these meds disclosed or not?
Hearing conflicting stories now. Either the WBC jumped the gun or it didn't
I'll wait for an announcement. If the fight is called off, Wilder will still have no names on his resume. Whilst I cant question his willingness to fight the best, he's still yet to do soComment
