Beltran beating Flanagan for a belt would be sweet. He was shafted in his fight against Ricky Burns in Glasgow.

I haven't read any new articles on the results on his case -- but I hope my assumptions are wrong and that hes done enough to win his legal status in America.Comment

What a great story for Beltran to not only beat this euro-bum for a world title but also have that victory validate his case to the department of Homeland & Security in order to win his Citizenship in the greatest country on earth ( U.S.A ) -- and how Ironic that he would have to go to foreign soil to achieve such a dream.Comment

Terry Flanagan got beat up and bloodied by 41-42 year old impoverished African Mzonke Fana, struggled with **** Cruz, and lost ( unofficially ) to Petr Petrov : he really shouldn't be champion right now - he sucks!Comment

Top Rank needs to hit the reset button with Verdejo. Get him healthy and have him fight a decent fighter by years end.
Then at the beginning of 2018 get him in a title eliminator fight. Right now the 135 pound division is tough.
Top Rank should take a wait and see approach to see whos going to move up in weight. Be PatientComment

The WBO didn't lose their patience, Top Rank did.
The WBO wouldn't just drop a Top Rank prospect in their rankings (a Puerto Rican prospect to boot) without their string pulling. TR just switched one of their fighters for the other.Comment

But Hughie "The Nandrolene Assassin" Fury held a top spot after knocking over a few bowling alley employees and pulling out of a fight just do he could get it moved to his hometown.Comment
