Hes got the work ethic but I feel hes holding himself back by not improving his technique from a coach who can teach him.
I think Ronnie Davis and Snr have taken him very far (easily world class) but to get to the next level he needs a trainer who can tell him what hes doing wrong technically.
He looked very subpar against Billy Joe Saunders and seeminly had no idea how to get inside or outbox him the first 6 rounds, when he was the taller, bigger, and stronger man

Hes improved no doubt since then but he still makes plenty of mistakes, particularly with his footwork. Sometimes hes all over the place.

I can't stand him or his father, but Jr does have some mongrel in him. Though he did move out of the 160-pound division very silently and without explanation.
I still find that move very strange.
