Ward will be remembered as the pound for pound king who solidified his throne with back to back victories over a game, p4p ranked Sergey Kovalev.

Does anybody here watch replays of Andre Ward’s fights? Even his so called fans? I don’t think so.

      JCC Sr is right.

No he won’t. By most people, he will be remembered as a dirty fighter who had officials on his side and was gifted decisions.

I won't dog the old legend for his opinion. I strongly disagree though.

Andre Ward is an Olympic Gold Medal Champion, Super Six winner, 2 division champ. He has some good names on his resume.

His name will always come up in real boxing fans conversations. Whether it's about controversy, who he could beat from other eras and so on.

Time will tell but he certainly could've done a lot more IMO to truly be remembered as a great. All respect for him for getting his money, securing his and his families future, and getting out of the brutal sport early with all his faculties in tact. However, he certainly won't be brought up alongside guys like Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Hopkins.

Respect to Andre Ward, but Chavez is right. I almost forgot about Ward already.

Idk about all that. Although for sure Ward feels like he's on a lesser tier than guys like Floyd, Manny or Klitschko since he did impressive sh^t, but his longevity at the top was short although not really in duration I suppose, but in what he did post proving himself in the Super Six. I believe he only had 7 fights in 6 years post the Super Six & then poof he's gone. Think how Floyd would look historically if he was done 6 fights after the Genaro Hernadez win or Pacquiao 6 fights after the Morales win. That's more or less what Ward's career will look like to the average cat who's not a Ward fanboy or Ward hater.

Andre Ward had a dream career inside and outside the ring unlike you who quit like a little b*tch.

I'm a Ward fanatic, but Chavez is right..
His career was long.. But not a lot of fights..
                      He beat
                      Frock
                      Kessler
                      Dawson
                      Kovalev 1 time

                      I think he's great. I'll remember him
But I also feel others won't..
