This is barely a notch above putting it on the public access channel. Hell, even showing it on c-span or oxygen network would get more eyeballs

At least they get paid for it now though... and getting paid is better for the fighters. The YouTube will be out for anyone who really wants to watch it afterwards.

Where did this article say anything about fighters getting "paid for it now"? Being televised doesn't necessary mean more money for fighters. For instance, most of the TV-airtime for PBC broadcasts are purchased FROM the cable network, not purchased BY the cable network. Only HBO and Showtime are throwing money at promoters in hopes of making big fights. SPIKE TV was actually paying PBC for content, but they grew unhappy paying for second tier cards while PBC put their biggest names on other networks. I'm not aware of the details of Top Rank's new deal with ESPN, but I know that ESPN has always had a policy of not paying big money for fights.

US tv needs to get on the up and up about international fighters!

There's some really talented guys who can put lights out with some skills behind them!.

                      Huck vs Glowacki

                      Usyk vs Hunter

                      Doritos vs Kalenga

                      KRUSH vs Durodola 2

                      Bellew vs Makabu

Someone with a team of money maker's, passion for boxing, knowing how to sell, charismatic, add in some English lessons or even Spanish, and then some promos and you can have a ***ing gold mine with cruiserweight!

Schaefer passes some of those marks but he's gonna experience some big growing pains!
