So Golden Boy is dis*****g the numbers by saying that they don't include the PPV streams and closed circuit buys? So I guess the Floyd/Mac still needs to add the PPV streams , closed circuit, SKy PPV, movie theater tot he rumored 4.4 mil buys they got.

I've never heard of sky ppv and movie theater sales being added to final domestic ppv numbers. But PPV streams are already added nowadays, and Im sure its an easier number to gather. I bought a stream for the same price as cable prices and I connected my laptop to the TV. It was a normal PPV viewing gathering.

Canelo will do a 1 M with GGG agains but from there after he wont reach that number again. He's doing around 600k and lower with other fighters with some name and didn't reach a Mil with Cotto.

Can't remember where I read the figures, so no sure things here, but I vaguely remember:

Canelo - Cotto : 800k
Canelo - JCC: 1m

If Cotto is a ppv draw (which I think we know he is), then got to credit him with some of those 800k. JCC also had a big draw factor vs Canelo given the Mexican rivalry (and papa's name), so if this one is North of 1m, pretty hard to simplify it down to everyone paying to watch Canelo and just a handful for Borat (as some seem keen to do).

Canelo needs to leave Oscar!

Oscar doesn't know how to promote a fighter and is often the guy that draws loathe and ire to his own stable!

The guy constantly b!+ches and moans about a fighter he lost to when he had all the advantages in the fight minus speed and age!

Never made a valid excuse or answer about those fishnet pictures, heck with his response he was better off just saying no comment!

Almost imploded his own company. by still hanging out at gay bars, drinking, and getting coked out his mind while trying to run a business!

Had his right hand man save his company (at the same time hurting it) by rightfully promoting Canelo the right way and making really good fights while he was in rehab!

Was ****** enough to not make sure his fighters were signed off on an EEOC with his company and got ribbed of nearly all of his fighters!

He stole Canelo from another company and even blackballed them and even refused to buy Canelo out until he got caught and proven his injustice!

Can't get a proper translator despite all his worth!

Never addressed those racist bigot emails that an employee of his had that was exposed for everyone to see!

Refused to match Canelo in with Lara,(even at one point Kirkland), and GGG even though Canelo wanted those fights which caused his fighter to get backlash!

And instead of promoting Canelo vs GGG, he kept talking about the Mayweather vs Mctapout fight!LOL

GGG needs Canelo to makes some decent money

GGG cannot sell many tickets or PPV's in America. Canelo and Oscar are needed for GGG to make the big boxing cash.
Golovkin should beg Canelo for another fight and a third.

Nice meeting between the two. The one flaw is the fact of the IBO. The FIRST &major FOUR should unite and utterly disallow union with other governing bodies. Any boxing FAN who has lived thru the birth and raise of the IBF followed by the WBO should know that it only makes sense to CLOSE THIS GROWTH. Anyway...Golovkin a green man to be ridding w/ the IBO.

I said 1.3MM is actually sort of disappointing, let's see where it goes from there. To only do 1K more than the Chavez Jr. fight would be a bit surprising IMO.

...it wouldn't be that surprising. Canelo Chavez was such a disappointment it didn't do any favors for the follow-up with GGG. The WWE-like theatrics after the Chavez fight also turned off a lot of people as well. It pi55ed me off because it felt like Canelo Chaves was all staged.
