David Lemeiux is irritating to watch.....<rant>

David Lemieux has this ******ed one dimensional style where he does this funny bounce, throws some pitty pat jabs then unloads with wild punches then repeats.
He can never control the tempo of his punches, like every punch has to be a fast ball. Kinda like Amir Khan, which eventually becomes very predictable to any world class opponent.

Also he mentally gives up in fights if they manage fight back, like against Rubio, Alcine and even recently Marcos Reyes. Most great Sluggers love getting into wars, but hes a slugger who cowers from it.
Kinda like the highschool bully who cries everytime someone has the balls to hit him back.

Funny herky jerky style, explosive but predictable, low boxing IQ, mentally weak and fights scared when someone fights back.
Ive never considered this guy world class, hopefully the next decent guy he faces knocks him out into next week.

LeMule was in his early 20's when he fought Rubio and Alcine. That Lemieux would have been iced in 2 rounds against GGG. He's clearly a better fighter know than when he was in him early 20's.

That may all be true but he comes to fight and he is a hell of a puncher that goes for a KO and usually gets one. He often leaves his opponents out cold and looking like dead men. He goes after guys like they just took his wallet full of cash. He tears after them and lets the bombs fly with both hands. I enjoy watching him fight and I think very few middleweights beat him today and Cotto isn't one of them.

DL is a slob of a boxer. I don't have anything personal against him but his game is so damn sloppy. I think of the line from Mickey in the Rocky movie; "You fight like a goddamn ape!!"
