By Cliff Rold - Fight fans love tournaments. This being boxing, sometimes they turn out the way they were designed. Sometimes they don't. Often, the latter is an issue of size and design. The HBO heavyweight unification tournament in the 1980s crowned Mike Tyson, which is arguably exactly what everyone hoped for. It took a year after the tournament ended to get to its unofficial but very real finale, Tyson versus Michael Spinks. Spinks opted out of the field early and let his market value rise. It was brilliant stuff at the pay window and for the most part all of it is still remembered fondly...

Cruiser is where it's at right now. Hopefully the semis go off without a hitch, fück taking the fights to the US they dont deserve real fights, the fans are happy with fights like guys with no amateur experience facing Floyd and the WWE promotion that comes with it.

Well yeah. of course fingers crossed, but with Glowacki as a stand-in even if somebody does get injured it ain't the end of the world. Hell - I probably would have put Glowacki in over Perez based on his CW achievements but I'm cool with the Cuban Irish dude as a kinda wild card since we pretty much know what Glowacki's got already.

Overall though this tourney is a breath of fresh air - boxing needs this kinda **** in every division.

You know what boxing fans love even more? When they're able to turn on their tv and watch the fight easily without having to stream off some website.

What happened with that TV deal they had lined up? There's been some good fights so far that a lot of people probably missed out on.

Haymon gives us PBC, Arum and his ESPN deal is another great addition but it's not enough for supposed boxing fans, they want guys like Canelo and Golovkin and Lomachenko vs Garcia on free tv.

I'm happy paying for what I have to pay for, it's funny though when we're being given fights like the WBSS for free and folk still ain't happy. I've watched every fight so far online and it's been brilliant, the joys of having the internet on my television set.

Who you thinks gonna win the cruisers ? I don't much for the SM's but Groves vs Eubank is a solid fight in itself and the final I'll certainly watch.

Usyk vs Breidis as well as Gassiev and Dorticos are bonafide super fights in their own, every one of these guys has a solid body of work right now, assuming of course Breidis overcomes the lazy ass Perez, I don't see a stoppage but once Perez starts feeling those heavy 200lb + plus bombs coming his way he's going into his shell.

I don't think their are any fights im more excited for right now other than these cruiser show downs.

So we can watch online on the official WBSS website? I definitely want to tune in. I don't know if I'm missing something, but their website doesn't seem to advertise that you can watch it there. Please enlighten me. Thanks.
