he is still a very talented fighter. He just needs to stay away from power punchers, and heavy hitters.
Will Amir Khan ever fight again?

Very puzzling why he does not just fight Brook in a couple of months time. Still be a huge fight in The UK. It would be a good cash out fight for both. They both keep loosing we will lose interest.Comment

He he probably will fight again eventually and it will probably be yet another cherry pick against a guy who can't punch. Khan took the Canelo fight because he was offered a huge amount of money. Nobody but Brook can make him anything like that kind of money and he has turned down that fight for years. The last few years Khan has been a cherry picker except for the Canelo fight. I think he will return to his cherry picking ways. His love of combat seems gone now but he probably wants a few paydays to retire on.Comment

That's like saying a older running back is still really good and just needs to stay away from teams with a good defensive line.
But I've been saying for a while I want to see Khan vs Ortiz. Guy with heart and no chin against a guy with big power and no heart. Battle of the delusional.Comment

Because Kell Brook will ruin him, and he knows it.
Amir Khan is able to run around the world and still play "star" because of the popularity that's been cultivated in the UK hasn't left him.
You stage Khan vs Brook (likely for Wembley to accommodate the interest) and the hype behind the fight likely leaves you in a Froch-Groves or Bellew-Cleverly situation, where the loser is exposed before the entire country and the starpower forever changed after that.
There's no way that Amir Khan's starpower survives a 6/7 round pummeling at the hands of his sole British rival.
So, Khan is left to run his mouth, talking up fights that he doesn't actually want, hoping against that a soft touch can stumble onto a win for him to fight.Comment
