Rap star Lil Wayne's got another one ... not a rap hit ... but another huge athlete for his Young Money APAA Sports & Entertainment Agency, this time signing an undefeated rising star the team ... TMZ Sports has learned. Wayne's new kid ain't some no-name prospect, its Erickson Lubin who's 18-0 and about to fight for the WBC super welterweight championship of the world. Lubin is fighting champion Jermell Charlo at the Barclays Center on October 14 and recently struck a pose with Young Money president Mack Maine, the guy responsible for bringing him to the team.

RocNation had a disaster in boxing, but for other sports, it's been pretty successful. Has very famous athletes like Kevin Durant and Ezekiel Elliot signed up.

J Prince "runs" houston, and if j prince didnt sign him, its because he didnt want him. If Lubin pulls off an upset, then good move by Wayne. He's following the JZ example set by Sean Carter. At least he's not on a boxing forumn complaining about sh|t and not trying to do something about what he believes in boxing. Dont let Birdman take this money also

It's been an incredibly successful venture. Boxing is just a tough space to enter. Not like other sports.

I doubt Lil Wayne's team has the type of cash that Roc Nation has to work with. His team should be careful or they'll be in bankruptcy quick. Roc Nation could afford to take chances in boxing because it has millions of dollars coming from like six lines of business, not including the music side of the company.

I just hope it doesn't result in good fights not getting made and long periods of inactivity

Waynes the type of guy who signs artists for the hell of it out of boredom and then lets them sit on the shelf until theyre forgotten. I'm wondering if this will be the same. Boxers should be careful about signing with these new promoters. 50 cents company ruined gamboas career
