Thanks for the link; how the lawyer suing Top Rank for access to the numbers is beyond me, but I'll go with it.Sure thing bro http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...-suit-top-rank
There is Crawford 2million plus percent of gate. Crawford makes more than Thurman and Danny Garcia. Pretty sweet
Note: Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman split $4m in disclosed money. To now assume that they didn't get any money that was not disclosed (just as Crawford has seemingly done) is a mistake.Comment

Calling BS on the UK article; where that even picked up that number is hilarious.Comment

you're the one that's says only go by the commission report those are your words not mine. Thanks for the link; how the lawyer suing Top Rank for access to the numbers is beyond me, but I'll go with it.

Remember crawford got part of the gate too.
Keep mind in garcia and thurman were disclosed to get 1.5 million each. Not 2 million. And that was for fighting each other. Thurman he never got paid like that beforeComment

A quick Google search of "thurman garcia purse" gets you basically a page of hits stating that the New York State Athletic Commision has the purses for Thurman-Garcia at $2m a piece.you're the one that's says only go by the commission report those are your words not mine.

In other words crawford got more than them vs a lesser known and less dangerous opponentLast edited by killakali; 09-27-2017, 11:08 PM.Comment

It's pretty obvious that Canelo got paid on the fight, but even $15m is significantly less than the $24m, nevermind what was mentioned in the UK article.
The Mexico TV alone, once you count the live cable airing and the free TV airing afterward, is likely worth a ton to Alvarez anyway, and that's not shared with anyone. Is that counted as part of his guarantee?
Alvarez owns his show; excluding the Mexico TV, he's on a deal that gives him something like 80%-85% of the event proceeds after costs.
Why would Alvarez ever take $24m on the front end, when he's getting 85% of the back-end?Comment
