Eyes. One of the main reasons for the jab is to disorient your opponent. If you keep a jab in his eyes you're making it difficult for your opponent to lineup his punches because it's harder for him to see his target. And it's harder for him to see the power punch coming that you should be occasionally throwing behind the jab.Last edited by Torino; 06-06-2006, 04:03 PM.Comment

Anywhere you can land it on the head. The jab keeps your opponets from firing their own shots. Even though you dont have to put much pop into them your opponet will get tired of getting caught by it. Hit the nose if possible. It hurts like a ***** and waters up the eyes.Comment

yea it definetly depends on ur stradegy. I like to follow my jabs with a power punch when i fight, so i like to aim for the eyes and forehead.Originally posted by yrrejThese should be on the nutrition and training page, but it depends on your strategy.
Another thing to look out for, is if ur throwing punches and u notice that evertime u throw a punch he tucks his chin in and tilts his head downward, then aim for the chest. while u throw that jab it may end up hitting him on the chin anyway. i used that A LOT when i used to fight almost everydayComment
