Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder Wants Anthony Joshua Right After "I Beat Ortiz!"

NEW YORK Deontay Wilder wants a win against Luis Ortiz to lead him to his ultimate goal in his following fight. After a press conference last week in which Wilder promised to knock out Ortiz on November 4 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the unbeaten WBC heavyweight champion said he wants Anthony Joshua next. Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs, 2 NC), a powerful southpaw from Cuba, is considered the toughest opponent of Wilder's nine-year pro career.

But they ducking you Deontay! these fanboys are looking at things like promoters. The other day a couple people said you were in line with being second to that bum 'Joey' Parker and that you should wait another year!

So there you have it! hopefully Breazle KOs Stiverne so that these idiots have no excuses when Joshua still decides to cherry pick Parker in the UK. When is this clown Anthony Joshua coming to America?!

He's right though. Vladimir fought Bryant Jennings (had no chance) then Tyson Fury (after being dropped by Cunnigham) while Wilder had the last WBC belt.

Joshua fought a similar cast of characters as Wilder until Vlad recently.

And Povetkin wanted the fight but got busted for PED.

Those are facts. None of that matters anymore now though, but he has a point.

yeah sure Deontay, Klitschkos ducked you lol

"Wilder Will Not Be Rushed To Klitschko, Says Finkel"

“Look, (Wilder) is a baby winning the title. It was his first title fight, they'll be a time for unification, they'll be a time for all those things, he could go and Povetkin (the No. 2 contender) in Russia and make $10 million,” Finkel said to the Tuscaloosa News. “It's not the right thing yet. Give him a couple of fights, maybe bring something back to Alabama. Let him develop just like any other athlete. They don't take someone who is a great college prospect and throw him right in. And this kid is a great prospect.”

Serious question- has Wilder fought any southpaws?
