I've seen these kinds of comments on Facebook as well saying that Floyd's fight against McGregor shouldn't count as his 50th victory. But if Floyd had somehow lost that fight these same hypocrites would then turn around and claim that the loss should in fact count towards his official fight record.

Every "bum" on GGG record would KO Mcgregor and that's a fact. The fight should never have been sanctioned but LV commission has been run by Floyd and Greed for years so it went through along with changing the gloves which shouldn't have happened either. Rules are usually in place for safety reason, unless it involves tons of money, then they just break them.

If it was just his 34th fight or something, nobody would care but it was for a record breaking 50 when he retired after it.

I am a fan of Triple G and I have much respect for Abel Sanchez, but it's obvious how hypocritical people can be at times. GGG and Sanchez have respect for Chavez Sr, who fought and destroyed people who were making their debut against a champion who already had over 30/40 fights?
