Canelo was trying to steal rounds.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw that:

GGG beat Canelo clearly. Close, but clear.

Jacobs got dropped once, but he was in fight the entire time. Canelo fought less than one minute of every round and tried to catch a breather the other two minutes.

And not everyone bought that strategy. He was landing some good shots in the first three rounds and last three, but only won two or three of those six convincingly. You can make a case of GGG winning some of those as well because he fought at the same pace all round and not just during 30 seconds.

I think Danny Jacobs said pretty much the same thing. That while Canelo had some good moments, he only fought in spurts.

      Teddy Atlas said the same.

Anyone with good experience watching boxing fights could see that Canelo was trying to steal rounds.

Dude got whooped up on and I firmly believe that in a rematch, GGG will end him.

30-45 seconds per round is all he could do...

I'm not sure how people score 1-3 clear Canelo rounds. Look at round 1 again he threw his first punch 40 secs into the round. After 1 min he threw 3 punches total just testing out his range. He then circle the ring for another 40 secs threw a jab then counter to the body after 2 mins of fight he threw 7 punches total. Then finally stood in the middle around 30 sec left into the round start trying to throw some punches that hit nothing but air and gloves and circle the ring again for the last 10 sec.

He got one body shot and probably 2 jabs the first round. It almost seem to me that he tried to concede the round on purpose to try to find his boundaries of the fight and all the hater seem to think thats a clear canelo round. I don't remember a clear canelo round and it's hard for me to say round 4-9 aren't ggg rounds.

Honestly i felt like I was almost watching the same gameplan canelo tried to do as jacobs. Both had their moments but they kept getting hit by that jab was a difference maker. Don't think these guys were trying to win but it felt like both was just trying to make it to the final bell.

He is sort of like Broner in that sense.

Just doing enough to try and win rounds.

Seriously the only 2 clear rounds I have for Canelo is round 2 and 12. Round 2 wasn't even that clear.

Rounds 10 and 11 Canelo fought in spurts the first minute and then GGG took over.

                Round 10-GGG.
Round 11 -swing round. If you watch it closely, this round could go to GGG.

Normally people who try to steal rounds do it towards the end of rounds not the start of rounds like canelo

It was more of a product of his gas tank not being able to sustain his activity throughout the round
