Comments Thread For: Team Fury Want Parker Rematch or Lucas Browne Fight Next

The dust has settled on Joseph Parker's Majority Decision win over Hughie Fury at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night and Team Fury have told BoxingScene that they will try to force through a rematch with the New Zealand-based WBO heavyweight titlist due to the lopsided scorecards that were produced after 12 rounds of boxing.

    Pricing for first fight:

'Early bird prices available until September 17 will set fans back just under a tenner and it is £14.99 after that'

I felt ripped off without actually paying anything to see it, but I guess all those who thought 'what a jolly bargain that was' after paying and watching it will be back, keen to pay to see it again. Or not.

This is one fight where Hughie could defeat a true power puncher bc Browne is slow as molasses and below average skilled .

But if Browne connects on Hughie ?

Apparently under 5,000 tickets sold, and less than 3,000 people watching on Youtube. God knows how much they lost, £1.6mil purses for Parker and Fury, and read Parker got the NZ PPV money. Why the hell would they wanna do that again?

So the retirement talk was just more random bullshit, that's an unsurprising shame.

There is zero reason for anyone to watch anything Hughie Fury related again.

In the biggest fight of his career, he laid an egg.

You said it. Fury is not even at Contender level, if he continues he'll be a gatekeeper/journeyman in the UK.
