Comments Thread For: Daniel Jacobs Confident: I See Myself Stopping Canelo!

Former WBA 'regular' middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) was a very interested observer in the recent middleweight clash between Gennady Golovkin and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. Golvkin (37-0-1, 32 KOs) and Canelo (49-1-2, 34 KOs) ended in a controversial twelve round split draw at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Due to the outcome, Golovkin retains the WBA, WBC, IBF, IBO middleweight titles.

Funny because Triple G said the same thing every fighter believes they will get the stoppage until they don't

That won't happen, he'll most likely retire undefeated or lost to Saunders, considering a good middleweight should be able to beat a 35 year old..

Jacobs is not going to stop Canelo... he'll certainly outbox him if he uses his jab... but the judges will give the decision to Canelo as long as he is competitive in at least 30 seconds in a few rounds...
