The sanctioning organizations are (yet again) seeing dollars signs in their eyes. Some serious respect needs to be given to Kovalev in all this. Of all the contenders, he's the one who had the belts til recently.

Didnt Beterbiev already beat Kov twice in the amateurs? I believe one was by KO. We will have to see how Kovalev comes back after that stoppage loss against Ward.

Beterbiev gets to fight a German cream puff for a belt? Would be nice if they set up a tournament with the alphabet beltholders and top contenders rather than parceling out belts in bum fights. Unfortunately it won't happen because alphabet boys steal more money when the belts are divided

I guess the litmus test will be his next fight. Most think he won fight #1, and Ward punched him in the balls fight 2. But you think whatever you wish, makes no difference to me. He has a family to support, so if he does go down a wacko road it would be his own fault. I'll assume that won't happen until proven otherwise.

Koelling is the only one who manned up to fight beterbiev so he deserve the title shot even if he lose

he is not, Beterbiev said on tva sport things are getting better with gym but he cant talk about it yet. He still with GYm for 2 years
