Man he looked awful! Or maybe we just didn't get Servantez much credit.....But man he got saved by the bell, TWICE. He's lacking the chin.
Valdez got saved by the bell twice......

i didnt expect Servania to win but i did see him as a live dog given the circumstances. Servania deserves credit. Prior to the bout lota posters said Valdez needs to face a real one like who the *** is Servania lol etc but the ones in the know realized wsup. Valdez ran into a hungry young fighter just like him and dude passed the test. -
I don't agree with this. Valdez got caught slipping but after the 7th pretty much dominated Genesis.
And one could argue Genesis got saved by the bell in the 5th.Comment

Its always the same rhetoric here and gets boring. You have a young up and comer like Valdez looking like a million dollars against lower tier competition whilst guys like Frampton and Santa Cruz look human because they are fighting higher calibre fighters.
So this brings on comments like 'Valdez will destroy Santa Cruz and Frampton easy' and general comments of that nature, and then when Valdez does step up, looks human, and hits some road blocks, so now he is a bum and can't beat any of the top guys.
More often than not the truth is always in between. Also I wish more of you would learn to assess the performances relative to the level of competition.
Finally black and white opinions are almost always not the right way to go in all aspects of life including boxing.
Rant over.Comment
