Funny thing is the 'crusty juggler' type buggers are more likely New Age types - hippies basically and relatively harmless in the main (I lived on a couple of new age sites briefly) even if often ****faced on alcohol or drugs (although many ain't). When we talk about 'travellers' or 'gypsys' we usually mean the Roma or Irish clans whose roots go back generations. Much as I hate to stereotype I can only go off my own personal experiences - and those are universally negative... basically the fuckers (or at least the ones I've encountered) are every bit as bad as they're made out to be. In fact the only traveller I ever liked was a kid who was basically on the run and under threat of death from his extended family that I knew when I was homeless for a time.
