Andre Ward vs Canelo Alvarez: Who is the more powerful puncher?

Who is the more powerful puncher between the two? I know both are in 2 different weight divisions. So when everything is equal, the boxer in the higher weight division would usually be the more powerful puncher. However, everything isn't equal since Andre Ward is a featherfist at super middleweight and light heavyweight whilst Canelo Alvarez has been a decent puncher at 154 pounds,

Considering Alvarez started at Welterweight and is starting to adjust at full 160 power and Ward fought at LHW in the Olympics and adjusted to 168. Safe to say his power is rated at medium 175. Therefore he is obviously stronger than Alvarez.

If Canelo moved to SMW one day I could see him hitting harder than when Ward was at SMW

Alvarez is a damn good puncher with a number of one punch KOs and a high KO ratio. A one punch KO by Ward has never happened to my knowledge and he KOs less than half his opponents. In my opinion Canelo hits harder than Ward even though Ward is 15 pounds heavier. Canelo's power punches move at a higher speed than Ward's power punches and he turns more body weight into them. Canelo is a born puncher who has perfected his punching power. Ward is not a big puncher.
