Fighters do slip and he hasn't looked as sharp/explosive in the last few fights.

How bad do the names Rocky Marciano and John Holmes burn your little balls? LOL

Of course. He's 35 years of age and it was obvious in his last two fights. You just have to open your eyes watching the fights.

GGG fans just need to accept the guy made some serious mistakes in the Canelo fight. Or stay pizzed all their lives. I think there's a possibility he can get back some of the old spark if Abel just wakes up and learns how to train him right. Or maybe he needs a new trainer. At this point... who knows? Not my problem, so not gonna worry about it. All I know is, we'll have a great rematch that IMO Canelo will win outright, with no controversy.

What's with all the negative talk about GGG? He beat Canelo so what does that say about Canelo? They needed Canelo to win so bad, they made a mistake of not waiting GGG out long enough.

Then why didn't you tell your network to make the fight two years ago, when it should have been made, Jim. I agree with you but all you are admitting is that HBO sold fans another past-its-best product, just like Mayweather-Pacquiao. Shame on HBO for doing that again. This is why fans are leaving the sport. Fans should only buy PPVs between non-heavyweights who are 32 years old or younger.

It's HBO's boxing revenue that has deteriorated thanks to Al Haymon and Bob Arum and without Canelo being the big draw and money maker he is they will sink. HBO is desperate to protect what they have left and their whole broadcast crew is just towing the line and worried about their own lucrative jobs.
