Sounds like you have never even watched those fights. Linares put on a clinique against DeMarco until he suffered that freakish cut.

Against Salgado not only did Linares overlook him but he came in cold into the ring. He got caught cold early and that can happen to anybody, even the greats.

After that loss his confidence had to have been shot and second loss followed. He fell into a slump.
