Comments Thread For: Kautondokwa Ready To Send Saunders To Sleep in December

It seemed to be a clear path in front of Billy Joe Saunders, who was scheduled to defend his WBO middleweight championship on Sept 16 in London. Beat Willie Monroe Jr in a twelve round mandatory matchup, take a shower, and sit down with a beer and enjoy Gennady Golovkin vs Saul Alvarez on TV that was about to start a couple of hours later. Whoever the winner is, he would have become the next opponent for the undefeated Englishman.

Kautondokwa is a true African warrior who comes to fight. He will certainly give Saunders a good fight.

Screw that. Saunders should fight Lemieux or Charlo or Jacobs or some other big name at middleweight while he waits for GGG/Canelo.

All those guys are ranked in the top 5 by the WBO.

The Namibian holds a record of 15 wins with 14 KOs -- and he fought an average of 3 rounds per fight...

Sounds pretty even, Saunders fights about 3 rounds in each bout too.

Kautondokwa has good power, but he isn't all that accurate. And Saunders is a very good boxer who should be able to avoid the bombs Kautondokwa launches. Another boring UD for Saunders IMO... IF he takes the fight.
