You have to out fight him. Out classing isn't the main parameter, you have to stay on your feet and quit trying to look pretty for the win. The fight was close because Linares took his foot off the gas in the middle rounds, not anything Luke did special. He was lucky to survive.

Campbell ate the bigger shots more often than Linares and got put on the canvas. That is not class.

He's deluded. Not surprising he feels this way though, he's been referring to himself in the third person since he won gold in London. Came unstuck vs Mendy and came unstuck last night. Not as good as he thinks he is, although he did better than expected against a quality champion in Linares.

Good solid fight, somewhat back n forth although I thought Linares stayed in control most rounds. Campbell, like many Brit fighters, just too laid back. Needs to be more aggressive... although Linares likely discouraged him from being that.

This fight was in the balance in the last two rounds. Linares won those rounds. I had it 115-112 for Linares, and gave him the last two rounds.

Campbell is solid though and will likely become champion at one point. He just lacks experience.
