The issue with this question is that, rather than throw three names together, you've got to get a team that gels together well.

The Showtime team (Al, Paulie, Mauro) works really well together, Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore works great together (Andre Ward worked well in the one try so far, so I'd add him or Tim to the team). HBO's team is what it is.

Great responses fellas. I see noone picked jim gray. He's ok but one of my least favorites, atleast when it comes to interviews. He can come off as an *******

For all time, all you need is Don Dunphy. Called the fight. No BS.

              For nowadays, I don't know.

Naaah, I'm aware of it but I understand it, it's just promoting your product. The company expects him to do that, he does it bcz he has to. I enjoy his commentary, but his Pacquiao stuff were too much.

Al Bernstein, Paulie & Maxie K.

Lampley is too biased. RJJ would rather talk about himself & that wrasslin guy has too many catch phrases & is just kinda annoying while a nice guy.

Honestly I like Woodhall + McIntosh. Woodhall can be a little over-critical and dour and namedrops GB Boxing too much but he is generally unbiased (he was the only British commentator or pundit to call that Parker was winning last night, for example) and has a good eye for technique and strategy. McIntosh is bombastic as hell but I like that

I'd like to see a 'Fan-Zone' type of commentary, so:

                      1) Friend/family member for Fighter A
                      2) Friend/family member for Fighter B
                      3) Someone impartial who knows their stuff

For (3), I think Mike Tyson is always a good choice, very underrated when it comes to his knowledge
